Update: WYSIWYG Editor Improvements

Posted Feb 9, 2009

We have improved the WYSIWYG [pronounced: wiz-ee-wig] editor to provide better copy/paste from MS Word.  When transferring content from a source document to Vortex, any additional formatting code from Word or other word processing software is automatically stripped out.  This means the text you add will appear exactly the way you want it to with fewer clicks.

The enhancements to the WYSIWYG editor have also made it possible for Safari, the most popular browser among Mac users, to be fully supported by Vortex.  In addition, pages in Vortex are faster to load, making the interface more responsive than ever.

With these new updates to the WYSIWYG editor, adding and editing catalogues, articles and text components to your website is now faster, easier and more flexible.  These improvements have been added to Vortex CMS at no extra charge.

We will be launching further improvements to Vortex in the coming months including easier photo editing and resizing.  Having full control of your website just keeps getting better....

For a demonstration of the WYSIWYG editor's newest capabilities or to learn more about using Vortex, please contact us and we will be happy to speak with you.
